Based on its strategic plan, the Liyan Amiri Foundation plans to expand its range of services and assistance to most of Afghanistan. This time around 200 needy students in KhasKunar district of Kunar province benefited from the assistance of the Liyan Amiri Foundation.
The Liyan Amiri Foundation is determined to increase aid, cover more areas and schools in the coming year and provide assistance to students and science and education centers in deprived and remote provinces as a priority.
While receiving donations, the district education chief thanked the director of the Liyan Amiri Foundation for donating this aid package and called for further attention and continued assistance. The KhasKunar district is located in the south-east of Asadabad, with an area of 337 square kilometers, consisting of 66 villages and its population is an estimated 47890 persons. The KhasKunar district is adjacent to the Durand Line and the Shiwaei district of Nangarhar.
It is worth to mention that Sayyid Jamaluddin Afghan, the great genius of the East, was also born in this district.
