About forty years after the death of Professor Abdolhakim Farid, the Liyan Amiri Foundation held a commemoration ceremony for him for the first time and unveiled his poetic generalities. In a ceremony held for this purpose in the Business Elite Hall of Herat province with the participation of educators and Farid's family, the speakers each spoke about the importance of holding such programs in the current situation. At the beginning of the ceremony, Mr. Haidar Hamid, Head of Cultural Affairs of the Liyan Amiri Foundation, while welcoming the guests, reminded them about how to prepare this work and shared with the audience about the programs that will be done by the foundation this year and in the coming years in the fields of culture and especially book publishing. Alhaj Fazl-ur-Rehman Farid, the son of Professor Abdul Hakim Farid, then thanked Engineer Saed Ismael Amiri, on behalf of the living family of Farid, for publishing this book and holding a commemoration conference. Subsequently, Professor Dr. Salahuddin Jami, a faculty member of Herat University, spoke about the poetic features of Professor Farid. Mr. Mostafa Mashal was the next speaker at the event, who described Farid's life and thoughts and then thanked the leadership of the Liyan Amiri Foundation for supporting the writers. The last speaker at the ceremony was Professor Vali Shah Bahreh, President and Founder of the Grand Cultural Center, Professor Abdul Wahid Bahreh. While enumerating some poetic and personality traits of Professor Abdul Hakim Farid, he lamented the abandonment of the people of thought and culture today and called on the government to pay more attention to the issue of publishing books and holding commemoration ceremonies for the country's heroes. It is worth mentioning that during the speeches, Mr. Matin Hejran, Ms. Sharareh Sarvari, and Ms. Zahl Vahdani recited poems by the late Farid, which were welcomed by the audience. The final part of the ceremony was the unveiling of the book by a group of attendees in the presence of the media.
