In request to Herat Technical Institute, the Liyan Amiri Foundation donated 3870 textbooks to the institute. Engineer Aminullah Amin, head of the institute, while receiving the books, commended the foundation's officials for the valuable action and said: "The students at the institute were facing a serious shortage of books that the donation of these books would completely satisfy the needs of the students."

Alhaj Sayyed Masoum Amiri, the head of the Liyan Amiri Foundation's Main Office, described helping the scientific and cultural sectors as one of the Foundation's major programs. He also announced that the Liyan Amiri Foundation would have expanded its services during the New Year.

It is noteworthy that the Liyan Amiri Foundation, in addition to its extensive assistance with education and higher education, has also contributed to the provision of semi-educational institutes and training centers.
