The Lian Amiri Foundation, in line with its central goal, which is to "strive to improve the level of knowledge," signed a memorandum of understanding today, Saur 14, 1400, with the Department of Education of Herat province to donate aid packages to public schools. A ceremony was held for this purpose in the gallery hall of the administrative complex of the province with the presence of Saed Abdul Wahid Zahed Qatali, Governor of Herat and Dr. Zakaria Rahimi, Director of Education of the province, the Liyan Amiri Foundation is committed to carrying out the most and most effective activities in the field of education during the current solar year. Prior to the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, Mr. Haidar Hamid, Head of Cultural Affairs of the Liyan Amiri Foundation, explained the contents of the Memorandum of Understanding and noted the importance and effectiveness of this Auxiliary Package. Mr. Seyyed Abdul Wahid Zahed Ghatali and Dr. Zakaria Rahimi, while expressing their gratitude to the Lian Amiri Foundation, considered this foundation as a real supporter of education in Herat and reminded that the various aid packages of this foundation have continuously solved many problems of Department of Education. This aid package is named after the late founder of the Liyan Amiri Foundation, Al-Hajj Saed Masoum Amiri, This aid includes covering needy students, donation of new and standard chairs and desks to the schools, holding dedicated capacity building seminars for teachers and students, launching safe drinking water systems, publish video tutorials of school subjects (Which was recorded at the initiative of the Department of Education and in cooperation with the Liyan Amiri Foundation), Reconstruction and MDFing of broken and unusable school desks and chairs, and much more. It is worth mentioning that the Lian Amiri Foundation has been supporting Herat Education since 1394 and has donated aid packages containing the most essential education items to schools in the city and districts of the province every year.
