In the series of its charitable activities, the Liyan Amiri Foundation has donated a potable water well, along with all its supplies, to karte high school. Previously, two wells had been dug for Enqalab high and Badeq secondary schools. Besides that, the drinking water system had been set up or rehabilitated in several schools throughout the city and districts of Herat province.
In the submission ceremony of the deep well, Professor Anita Hatami, Principal of Karte female high School, thanked the Foundation's officials for drilling the deep well for the school, highlighting the vital and valuable role of drinking water for high school students.
Subsequently, Haidar Hamid, Head of Cultural Affairs of the Liyan Amiri Foundation spoke on behalf of the Foundation's officials and provided information on the activities and future plans of the Liyan Amiri Foundation in the cultural and social fields. Then Professor Gholam Haider Amin, as the former Principal of Karte School and a member of the School Development Council, as well as the Chairman of the Upper Karta Popular Council thanked and appreciated the activities of the foundation, especially the digging of the drinking water well in that school. Professor Manizheh Farahmand, a well-known teacher at that school, on behalf of the teachers said digging this deep well was an effective and valuable step towards resolving the great problem of the school and thanked the Liyan Amiri Foundation for its services.
Mr. Mansour Salamyar, Head of Herat Education Council Affairs, on behalf of the Education Directory, thanked the Honorable Engineer Saed Ismail Amiri, President and Founder of the Liyan Amiri Foundation, for his generous donations to schools. In his statement, the head of the Council of Education's affairs called the public mobilization in different parts of society in bringing about a widespread and fundamental change in different levels of society and called for more attention to schools by the people and charity foundations.
Honorable Haji Gholam Reza Haqjoo, and elder for the Karte Olia, said digging deep well for Karte School is a valuable activity for school students. He considered schools to be the foundation of community building, and equipping and resolving school problems was a valuable step in bringing about a fundamental change in society.
During the opening of the mentioned deep well, Haji Abdul Rahim Khan Master (Arbab) of Karte Olia Village, Rizagol Rasooli, Deputy of the Village Development Council, Haji Noor Mohammad Khan, the mentioned village elder, and several elders of Karte OLia, thanked The Liyan Amiri Foundation Officials in their speeches.
In conclusion, Haji Sayed Masoum Amiri, head of the Liyan Amiri Foundation's Main office, praised the members of the Development Council, the elders and benefactors of the Karte School, and considered the sincere service of education to be the mission of the Liyan Amiri Foundation and promised to increase these activities in the future.
It is worth to mention that Karte School, located in Engil District has more than 7700 students in both parts male and female.
