On 03/08/1397, the foundation for the inspection of Herat International Airport was laid by the Liyan Amiri Foundation and today officially inaugurated in presence of Provincial Deputy, Provincial Council Vice-President, Chamber of Commerce, Air Force officials and a number of elders. Speaking at a ceremony at Herat International Airport for this purpose, the speakers highlighted the importance of public works and talked about the importance of establishing this building.

Initially, Mr. Shahir Salehi, head of the Herat International Airport, described the area as a guesthouse in Herat and considered it important and vital to assist in this important area. Also, he expressed his hope that other institutions would do more of such charity work, and found the building of this as a valuable step towards resolving the biggest problem of Herat airport.

Then honorable Mohammad Nasser Niknam, commander of the Border Police of Herat Airport spoke.

Describing donations from charities, individuals and institutions, he described the gift of the Liyan Amiri Foundation as more useful, effective, and inspiring, and found the building to be the most important step in addressing a large part of the airline's passengers and clients.

Honorable Haji Toriali Taheri, Deputy Chairman of Herat Provincial Council, mentioned the establishment of this building as an achievement and recognized this achievement not only for Herat but also for the country and for all the compatriots traveling through the airport. On behalf of the Herat People, he expressed his gratitude to the Officials of Lain Amiri for this useful and effective action.

On behalf of the Liyan Amiri Foundation, Professor Haidar Hamid, spoke about the Foundation's activities, functions, achievements and future plans and provided information on why the building was established, donation equipment and more. Mr. Haji Sa’ad Khatibi, Head of the Herat Chamber of Commerce, mentioned his background with the founder of the Foundation, Mr. Sayyed Ismail Amiri, and highlighted the importance, quality and effectiveness of the establishment of this building and its various activities, especially in the education sector. He considered it to be from the good and godly purposes of the President and the Founder of the Foundation.

In conclusion, on behalf of the officials and appointees of the Herat Airport, Mr. Mohammad Nasser Zarifi, Director of the Herat International Airport Security Department, expressed his heartfelt gratitude.

The ceremony ended with the award donation, the ribbon cutting and visits to various parts of the building. It should be noted that the building is built by the most modern cooling, heating and security equipment within one hundred and seventy meters of infrastructure, in a completely standard form, with the most modern facilities and donated by Alhaj Sayed Masoum Amiri, head of the Liyan Amiri to Herat International airport Authorities.
